Dr. Weibo Cai, Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor and Director of the Molecular Imaging and Nanotechnology Laboratory, has been invited to deliver a plenary lecture at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine (CSNM), to be held on September 5-9 in Wuhan, China. The CSNM annual conference is the biggest Nuclear Medicine conference in China, with more than 1500 delegates attending. Prof. Cai’s talk will be entitled “Harnessing the Power of Molecular Imaging for Precision Medicine.”
This is the second time Prof. Cai has been invited to give a plenary lecture at a major conference. In 2016, Prof. Cai was invited to deliver a plenary lecture at the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) Annual Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The EANM Annual Congress had more than 6000 attendees and was the largest nuclear medicine conference in the world, with higher attendance than the SNMMI Annual Meeting. Dr. Cai is the only plenary speaker in EANM history of Chinese descent.
