There’s always time for fun! And with the Grand Summit Hotel situated in the heart of Canyons Village, your next adventure is closer than you think!
Everything you need to know for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and more are available below.
Skiing & Snowboarding
Step out the Grand Summit Hotel’s doors and step right into the best Canyons Village skiing! An average snowfall of 355 inches, 40 lifts and more than 330 trails make this a premier ski destination!
Lift Tickets
Purchase your lift tickets early to get the best deals. Go to this webpage to search for Park City tickets on the dates that you want.
Or get an Epic Pass to cover you for the full skiing season! Park City Mountain Resort, including the Canyons base area, is included on the Epic Ski pass. The Epic Pass allows many flexible options for purchasing ski passes with significant savings compared to buying lift tickets when you arrive.
A full Epic Pass includes unlimited access to Park City, Vail, Breckenridge, Whistler Blackcomb, and over 35 additional ski resorts in North America, Europe, and Japan without blackout dates. If you are planning to take more than one ski trip during the 2025-2026 ski season at epic resorts, this pass might be for you!
Another great option is the Epic Day Pass, which is available in increments from 1 to 7 days of skiing. Buying before the seasons begins results in significant savings and you do not need to commit to certain ski days (or locations). Even if you plan to ski for one day, buying an Epic Pass is cheaper than buying lift tickets, especially if you buy early. Please note that an Epic Day Pass including Park City Resort requires an “All Resorts” pass with choice of with or without blackout dates (check blackout dates carefully).
Other types of Epic Passes are also available. There are different epic passes for adults (13 years+) and children (5-12 years old, less expensive).
Ikon Pass holders: If you are planning on an Ikon Pass for the 2025-2026 ski season, you can buy Epic Day Passes to ski at Park City Mountain or you can ski at multiple resorts in the Wasatch Range, including Deer Valley, Alta, Snowbird, Snowbasin, Solitude, and Brighton.
Mountain Information
The Park City Mountain Resort has two primary base areas: Park City Mountain Village (view map) and Canyons Village (view map). The Grand Summit Hotel is situated in the Canyons Village, but even if you visit the other base area, you can still use the same ski pass. End up at the wrong base? A shuttle service is available between the bases and the historic downtown of Park City.
