Members of the Informatics Section members play key roles in pursuing informatics initiatives that focus on three pillars: technology (efficient and accessible tools for data discovery and delivery), process (processes that are innovative and compliant with security and privacy requirements), and people (communication and effective change management). By coordinating industry partnerships with companies like GE, Change Healthcare, Aidoc, GE, and Microsoft, members ensure that UW researchers have access to cutting-edge technology that is effectively implemented.
