Biography

Ke Li, PhD, Associate Professor (Tenure) of Medical Physics and Radiology, joined the UW Department of Radiology faculty in 2014. He attended Nanjing University in Nanjing, China, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Physics. Dr. Li continued his education at Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, where he received his Masters of Science in Physics, and University of Wisconsin–Madison for his doctorate of Philosophy specializing in Medical Physics. Dr. Li has received multiple awards for his excellence, including the Department of Defense (DOD) Breast Cancer Research Program Breakthrough, the American Association of Physics in Medicine (AAPM) Best-in-physics, and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Trainee Research Prize. He has a keen interest in quantitative CT image quality assessment, the instrumentation of advanced x-ray CT imaging systems, x-ray phase contrast breast imaging, cerebrovascular CT imaging, and low dose body CT.
