Where are you from?
I grew up in Paducah, Kentucky.

Why did you choose radiology?
I love the intersection between technology and medicine in radiology that continues to push boundaries to better diagnose and treat patients.

What are your professional interests?
I find teaching very rewarding, particularly seeing trainees improve over the course of a rotation or watching them develop their own passion within this field. I was lucky to have incredible mentors during my training that I hope to emulate during my career. I enjoy the wide variety of imaging modalities used every day in abdominal imaging with a special interest in magnetic resonance imaging.

Why did you choose to work at UW–Madison?
As a new attending, I want to be in an environment surrounded by experts where I am challenged and learning every day. I also get the chance to teach and learn from the amazing trainees at UW who always bring a new perspective. Outside of work I have the opportunity to enjoy an amazing city with a lot of great outdoor activities.

What are your hobbies?
Spending time outside with my family, cooking, and new technology.
