Colon Cancer

Show

History: 92 yo male with \"weakness\"
Solution: This is a classic example of an \"apple core\" lesion in the colon. There is typical narrowing, thickening, and shouldering involving a short segment of colon. This is why you look at the colon on every scan. In fact, in a study performed by one of our former fellows (Bora Ozel), about 70% of colon cancers were retrospectively visible on standard CT imaging.
