Associate Professor and Cardiovascular Section Chief Christopher Francois, M.D., was featured in an article detailing the story of Jodi Sweeney, a Madison woman who had two holes in her heart diagnosed and repaired by the UW Health Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program.
Francois noted UW Radiology’s contributions to the program, including chest x-rays, MRI’s and echocardiography. The capabilities of UW imaging specialists result in fewer diagnostic catheterizations, more precise diagnoses and lower costs for patients and their insurers.
