Why did you choose radiology?
I discovered the wonderful field of radiology in medical school and was immediately captivated by the power of imaging technologies to visualize the human body, diagnose conditions, and directly treat diseases. I am grateful to have had wonderful mentors who helped me appreciate the multidimensional nature of radiology practice, where I value the opportunity to interpret images, perform procedures, and collaborate with other health care providers to care for our patients.

What are your professional interests?
I have a long-standing interest in cancer research and am passionate about channeling research innovation to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. My current research focuses on translating advances in artificial intelligence and radiopharmaceuticals to create more personalized and effective solutions for detecting, diagnosing, and guiding the treatment of breast cancer.
