The Wisconsin Radiological Society held its 62nd Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 16, 2011.
The meeting, titled, “Forecast for the Future of Radiology: Assessing the Impact of Current Trends on Your Practice,” was held at the five-star The American Club Resort. Intended for all physicians and practicing administrators, the program worked to inform participants about a variety of topics, from impacts of the Healthcare Reform Bill on radiology to the pros and cons of new practice paradigms.
The University of Wisconsin’s Department of Radiology played a substantial role in the meeting. In addition to having a number of department members on the Wisconsin Radiological Society board, Dr. Lynn Broderick of the Community Radiology Section currently serves as the President of the society and Dr. Jeffery Kanne spoke at the meeting.
