Erik Winterholler, MD is from Salt Lake City Utah, but lived in the Midwest for parts of his childhood. He was happy to come back for medical school and now residency. In medical school, he realized he wanted to go into radiology, specifically Interventional Radiology, because of his previous work experience that interfaced heavily with IR. His professional interests includes informatics and health policy. He hopes to be involved in medical device development in his career. In his free time, Dr. Winterholler loves the outdoors and touring the state parks in Wisconsin and surrounding states. His hobbies include music, both appreciation and playing (he played guitar in a rock band for 4 years in college), powerlifting, snowboarding, skiing, hiking and cycling, and coffee brewing and tasting.
