This study will evaluate multi-slice acquisition for accelerating T2 relaxation time imaging of the articular cartilage of the knee joint. Multi-slice and conventional T2 mapping sequences will be obtained in the knees of 10 healthy asymptomatic volunteers and 5 subjects with knee osteoarthritis. T2 relaxation time measurements of articular cartilage will be compared for the accelerated and conventional sequences.
