Biography
Dr. Bradshaw is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology in the Imaging Sciences Section. He obtained a PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin in 2016. Dr. Bradshaw’s research focuses on applications of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, particularly PET and nuclear medicine imaging. The goal of his lab is to automate the analysis and interpretation of medical images through machine learning. They also explore novel methods for combining medical image analysis and natural language processing (NLP) of medical text using multimodal learning. Dr. Bradshaw has served on the Board of Directors for the Physics, Instrumentation, and Data Science Council (PIDSC) of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) and as a member of the SNMMI Artificial Intelligence Task Force. In addition to Dr. Bradshaw’s research, he oversees the quality assurance program and physics support for PET and Nuclear Medicine at UW Hospitals and Clinics and the Wisconsin Institute of Medical Research (WIMR).
