Biography

Monica Cooley, MD grew up in Mequon, Wisconsin. She obtained her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin–Madison, and her medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Cooley completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was elected as Chief Radiology Resident during her time there.

Dr. Cooley returned to Madison for her fellowship and joined the Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention section as an Assistant Professor (CHS) in 2024. Her professional interests include interventional oncology and advanced musculoskeletal procedures, medical student and resident education, and advocacy for women in the field of radiology.

Dr. Cooley joined the Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention section as an assistant professor (CHS) in 2024.
