Biography
Sean Golden, MD is a native of Madison, WI. He attended college at Yale, graduating with honors in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental biology. Dr. Golden attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin, where he was awarded the Andrew Alan McBeath Medical Scholarship and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After medical school, he completed a surgical internship in Chicago and then an integrated interventional radiology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Golden joined the Interventional Radiology section as an assistant professor (CHS) in 2024. As an interventional radiologist, Dr. Golden specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments for vascular and non-vascular diseases. His professional interests include hemorrhoid artery embolization, prostate artery embolization, genicular artery embolization, and interventional oncology.
