Kevin E McDonald MD

Kevin McDonald, MD grew up in Chicago, Illinois. After completing his undergraduate degree in food science and human nutrition, he founded a distillery in Chicago. Dr. McDonald attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati before completing his intern year, residency, and cardiothoracic imaging fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. During his residency, he was awarded the Medical Student Award for Outstanding Teaching by a Resident.

Dr. McDonald joined the Sections of Cardiovascular Imaging and Thoracic Imaging in 2026. His professional interests include cardiovascular imaging and education focused on practical teaching tools for residents and fellows.
