Biography

Lewis Jordan, MD, MS, MPH grew up in Rockford, IL. In 2011, he obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Jordan earned his first master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2013. A year later, he obtained his second master’s degree in public health and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Dartmouth College. He returned to Chicago and completed his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Dr. Jordan did his internship at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where he was part of the chief resident selection committee. After his residency at Rush University Medical Center, Dr. Jordan joined the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology as a breast imaging fellow. He joined the department as an assistant professor (CHS) in the Section of Breast Imaging in July 2025.

Professionally, he focuses on equitable access to care including, but not limited to, breast cancer screening. Additional professional interests include public health and quality improvement.
