Biography
Dr. Ozkan joined UW in 2009 as the Andrew B. Crummy Professor of Radiology. He served as chief of the Interventional Radiology section from 2009 to 2024. Dr. Ozkan graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his Radiology residency training at the same institution. He later did Interventional Radiology and Body Imaging fellowships at University of Texas Medical Branch. He worked as the section chief and program director for interventional radiology at UTMB.
Dr. Ozkan has authored more than 30 papers in the field of interventional radiology. His primary interests include portal
hypertension, biliary interventions and interventional oncology.
Personal interests: photography, soccer, table tennis.
