Biography
In 2024, Sarv Priya, MD, MBBS joined the department as a Clinical Assistant Professor, splitting his time between pediatric radiology and cardiovascular imaging. He completed his residency in India and received cardiac training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He pursued advanced cardiac MRI training at Boston Children’s Hospital, followed by a Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Priya completed fellowships in Pediatric Imaging and Body Imaging, as well as residencies in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals.
Prior to joining UW-Madison, Dr. Priya was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Iowa, where he served as the Director of Cardiac Imaging and the Medical Director of the 3D Lab. His clinical focus is on pediatric congenital cardiovascular imaging, while his research interests encompass artificial intelligence, radiomics, and virtual reality visualization in congenital cardiac imaging. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed papers and is an active member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology’s Cardiac Committee. He also serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Computer-Assisted Tomography and frequently reviews manuscripts for various radiology journals.
In his free time, Dr. Priya enjoys watching basketball, crime shows, and spending time with his family.
