History: 64 yo male with known clinical syndrome and bright red blood per rectum. Diagnostic VC.
Solution: The findings in this case are rather obvious. Unilateral lower limb overgrowth with extensive vascular abnormalities, extensive involvement of the colon with a submucosal vascular abnormalities, and pelvic involvement as well. The vascular abnormalities are mostly a combination of varicose veins and hemangiomas and this patient has Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome, a rare mesodermal process that generally affects the lower limb unilaterally with variable involvement of the colon, bladder, spine, liver and spleen. Can cause debilitating pain and spontaneous bleeding.
