On May 29, 2025, family, friends and colleagues gathered from near and far to join the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology in celebrating the 2025 resident class.
Held in the Discovery Building on campus, the event began with a social hour and transitioned into a seated dinner for the program. Department Chair Scott Reeder, MD, PhD welcomed attendees and thanked everyone for coming together to celebrate the graduates. Diagnostic Radiology Program Director Allison Grayev, MD; Chief of Thoracic Imaging Jeffrey Kanne, MD; Senior Chief Resident Cory Pierson, MD; and Medical Education Co-Directors Matthew Lee, MD and Venkata (Vinny) Meduri, MD presented awards recognizing the outstanding work of not only the residents but also department members who guided them during their residency.
Following the presentation of awards, each resident was invited to the podium to make remarks and receive their diplomas. Many gave heartfelt thanks to their families, fellow residents, and faculty who supported them during their training. Residents were introduced by Diagnostic Radiology Associate Program Director Mitchell Daun, MD and Interventional Radiology Program Director Mark Kleedehn, MD.
