Prof. Weibo Cai was awarded the Springer Prize from the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) for his research article entitled “Quantitative PET of EGFR expression in xenograft-bearing mice using 64Cu-labeled cetuximab, a chimeric anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody”, which was published in the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in 2007.
The Springer Prize is awarded annually to the most cited paper in European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. As a special recognition of this award, the electronic version of the article will be open access and thus freely accessible. In addition, Prof. Cai will have free access to the EANM congress 2011 in Birmingham, UK. This award will be presented to Prof. Cai during the award ceremony of the 2011 EANM congress in October.
