Carol Mitchell, PhD, RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RT(R), FASE has been selected as the American Society of Echocardiography’s 2010 Cardiac Sonographer Distinguished Teacher Award recipient. A luminary of the society will make award announcements at the 21st Annual Scientific Sessions during the ASE Annual Business Meeting in San Diego, CA on June 13, 2010. The award recognizes an active sonographer instructor who is attentive to cardiac sonography professional values and who exhibits values of leadership and dedication to the field of echocardiography for past, current, and future cardiac sonographers.
