Dr. Field Selected for AUR-Afga Radiology Management Program

Dr. Aaron Field, acting chief of the Neuroradiology Section, has been selected to participate in the 2013 Association of University Radiologists–AGFA Radiology Management Program. This program will take place in Los Angeles at the 61st Annual Meeting of AUR. Dr. Field is one of 35 candidates.

Dr. Field is currently Associate Professor with Tenure in the Department of Radiology, with an affiliate appointment in Biomedical Engineering. His research interest is quantitative magnetic resonance imaging of CNS white matter disease and repair, particularly using diffusion tensor, magnetization transfer, and T1/T2-relaxometric imaging techniques. A primary goal of his research is non-invasive tracking of myelin repair following glial stem cell transplantation.
