Dr. J. Louis Hinshaw is the recent recipient of the UW Health Physician Excellence Award for Clinical Practice Excellence. This award is meant to recognize an outstanding clinician who demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to patient- and family-centered care.
Of 6 awards given as UW Health Excellence Awards, members of the Department of Radiology took home 2, a testament to the hard work of faculty members and supportive atmosphere they have helped create. While Dr. Lee nominated Dr. Hinshaw for this award, Dr. Hinshaw also nominated Dr. Lubner for her recent UW Health Physician Excellence award, showing an unwavering commitment to the success of his colleagues. Hinshaw himself stated, “It is really a reflection of our teams in radiology… As a physician, I can’t do anything alone and I really share this award with… other team members who make it possible for us to take the best possible care of patients. ”
