Weibo Cai, Ph.D., Director of the Molecular Imaging and Nanotechnology Laboratory and Assistant Professor of Radiology and Medical Physics, was invited to attend the 1st Annual Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) Future Leaders Academy. The Academy will take place on February 4th and 5th, 2014 in Palm Springs, California, and will be held in conjunction with the SNMMI Mid-Winter Meeting.
Dr. Cai is one of ten SNMMI professionals invited to take part in the Future Leaders Academy, which strives to recognize the enthusiasm and determination to be a leader in the field of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. The Academy will feature a day and a half course with an assemblage of both current SNMMI Leadership and a trained leadership facilitator.
The SNMMI Leadership Academy’s training will focus on increasing professional achievements and enhancing performance by developing the necessary leadership skills and fostering organizational expertise. The program is also designed to help members achieve a position in the national leadership of the SNMMI by giving an opportunity to learn fundamental leadership techniques from current SNMMI leaders.
