We are thrilled to announce that the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) selected Christian La, a graduate student in the Neuroscience Training Program, as an ICTR Pre-doctoral TL1 Trainee.
This prestigious opportunity provides predoctoral funding to accepted graduate students for up to two years with yearly renewal. La’s research will focus on stroke plasticity and will be co-mentored by Dr. Vivek Prabhakaran, M.D., Ph.D., an assistant professor in the Departments of Radiology and Psychiatry, and Beth Meyerand, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and professor in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics.
