Charles Strother, Beverly Aagaard-Kienitz, and David Niemann, from the Departments of Radiology and Neurological Surgery, were featured in a special March 2012 issue of Discover Magazine entitled The Brain. The spread, under the heading Dangerous Beauty, highlights the breathtaking images achieved through angiography, and briefly describes the use of angiography for diagnosis and treatment of aneurysms and other blood-flow related issues.
