The Department of Radiology would like to recognize Matt Brabender, 2013 Outstanding Technologist Award recipient, on his dedication and commitment to quality patient care.
According to Matt’s nominator, Matt goes out of his way to do his job efficiently, pleasantly and intelligently. “He is always happy and willing to work,even if it’s at 3 am… three nights in a row.” Another strong aspect Matt brings to the job is his desire to learn more about the pathology of cases he sees and learn from them to provide better care. “I always look forward to having him on call with me because I know how easily he makes things run.”
Apparently, excellence in providing care runs in the family– Matt’s mother, Colleen Brabender, is a long-time and much loved technologist as well.
