Physician or Scientist, Why Not Both?

The relationship between the physicists who develop imaging tools and the clinicians that use them is among the most unique in medicine. The Medical Scientist Training Program hopes to bridge that gap, with a combined M.D./Ph.D. curriculum.

While it is challenging, graduates of the program are highly sought after for their experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.

One of our own, Professor Scott Reeder, M.D., Ph.D., was recently named an Associate Director of the program.
