Radiology Student Named ISMRM Junior Fellow

Posted on March 2012

Congratulations are in order for Andrew Wentland, a UW radiology research assistant and M.D./ Ph.D. candidate, as the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) named him as a Junior Fellow for 2012.

The ISMRM review committee selected Wentland after reviewing his commitment to the ISMRM through membership and attendance at ISMRM sponsored events, his publication history, and his selection as a presenter at an upcoming ISMRM meeting in Melbourne, Australia.

As an ISMRM Junior Fellow, Wentland will receive a one-year mentorship by a senior ISMRM Fellow and the opportunity to choose an ISMRM committee on which to serve as a non-voting member.

Wentland will officially accept his new role on Monday, May 7 in Melbourne.
