Students from UWHC School of Radiologic Technology class of 2014 will be attending the WAERT 2014 Student Educational Spring Symposium to be held on April 22-23 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
The event features presentations pertaining to professional practice, board review sessions, a quiz bowl competition, an essay and scientific exhibit competition, and the opportunity for graduating students to write a simulated board exam. Various vendors, employers, and representatives from professional organizations will be on hand, giving students the opportunity to network with professional colleagues.
The Symposium is hosted annually by the Educator’s Sub-Committee of the state professional society, the Wisconsin Society of Radiologic Technologists (WSRT). The event is attended by radiologic science students, educators, and technologists from across the state of Wisconsin as well as neighboring states.
