We would like to take a moment to recognize Mikia Lewis and Alyssa Jacoby and thank them for their commitment to community service and fundraising.
Mikia has been the Heart Walk captain for Radiology for five years now. Through her efforts and those of UW Radiology, $1,570 was raised for 2012. Alyssa recently took on the role of Alzheimer’s Walk captain this year and Team Radiology raised $1,205. Both teams collected personal donations as well as proceeds from the bake sales and clothing sales.
Both of these individuals play important roles in UW Radiology’s involvement in the community and continue to look for ways to involve the department in other events.
