Cristopher Meyer MD, FACR

Cristopher A. Meyer MD, FACR is professor (CHS) of diagnostic radiology in the Thoracic Imaging Section. He received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine and completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He has previously held faculty positions at the University of Maryland, University of Cincinnati and Indiana University. Dr. Meyer serves nationally as a member of the chest section of the Scientific Program Committee for the American Roentgen Ray Society and is a past President of the Society of Thoracic Radiology. Dr. Meyer is the author or coauthor of over 100 articles, book chapters and abstracts in radiology and 70 scientific and educational posters. He is a NIOSH certified B-reader, has published and lectured nationally on topics related to occupational lung disease, served as a member of the American College of Radiology Pneumoconiosis Task Force and is co-director of the NIOSH-sponsored American College of Radiology B-Reader Training Course. Areas of subspecialty interest include: HRCT of interstitial lung disease, particularly cystic and orphan lung diseases, radiation-induced lung injury and imaging of occupational lung disease.
