Dr. Sadowski Receives Adjunct Appointment As Associate Professor With Obstetrics And Gynecology

Dr. Elizabeth Sadowski received an adjunct appointment as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sadowski specializes in gynecological imaging as part of the Abdominal Imaging Section. She teaches residents in the Departments of Radiology, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology on a variety of topics in gynecological imaging, including 1st trimester ultrasound, imaging of the acute pelvis, MRI of gynecological cancers, and fetal MRI. She helps coordinate the Gynecological Oncology Tumor Board, in which both Radiology and Pathology now participate in. She is responsible for initiating new MR protocols in gynecological imaging, most notably imaging of uterine anomalies and endometrial cancer. Her research focuses on using MRI, and eventually PET/MRI, for the pre-operative and pre-treatment evaluation of endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancer.
