PHILIP CARLSON, MD

Clinical Associate Professor (Clinician-Teacher) to Clinical Professor (Clinician- Teacher)

Dr. Philip Carlson has been a member of the Community Division since 1999. He also completed his residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the UW in 1989. Currently, he is focussing on general diagnostic imaging, nuclear cardiology, and vertebroplasty spine procedures. He is also interested in the health effects of radiation and energy generation, having lectured for the American Nuclear Society and participated in the 2003 conference entitled “The Future of Nuclear Energy in Wisconsin.”

EMILY LEWIS, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor (Clinician-Teacher) to Clinical Associate Professor (Clinician-Teacher)

Dr. Emily Lewis joined the department in the Community Division in 2004, with an impressive radiology background. Today, her interests include MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and operations improvement. She is the co-chief of the Radiology Education Committee in the Community Division, which educates and develops protocols to assist the group in delivering consistent, reliable care. Dr. Lewis also implemented the American College of Radiology’s peer review process to maintain high standards of care.

JOHN PARK, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor (Clinician-Teacher) to Clinical Associate Professor (Clinician-Teacher)

Dr. John Park became a member of UW Radiology’s Community Division in 2004. He is fellowship trained in neuroradiology. Dr. Park attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his radiology residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Connecticut and his fellowship at University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Park’s current clinical interests include MRI, stroke imaging, and head and neck imaging. He practices at Meriter Hospital and UWMF’s 1 South Park Clinic.

ELIZABETH TEIGEN, MD

Clinical Associate Professor (Clinician-Teacher) to Clinical Professor (Clinician-Teacher)

Dr. Elizabeth Teigen has been working in the Community Division since 2001. Her current clinical interests include abdominal imaging, trauma, and PET CT. She is currently chief of medical imaging at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. WI. Additionally, Dr. Teigen is affiliated with Meriter Hospital, UWMF’s 1 South Park Clinic, Group Health Cooperative, and Fort HealthCare in Fort Atkinson, WI. Dr. Teigen is fellowship trained in cross-sectional imaging from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
