The medical student Radiology Interest Group recently hosted a noon lecture with Dr. Andrew Ross where he spoke on his life as a musculoskeletal radiologist, balancing clinical work, research, and everything in between. Dr. Ross reviewed a recent paper that he and colleagues published in the BMC Health Services Research Journal that examined patient race and ethnicity as factors in the use of diagnostic imaging in emergency departments across the United States, showing that radiology offers numerous opportunities for interdisciplinary research.
