High Quality and Sub-mSv Cerebral CT Perfusion Imaging using MRI as a Reference

The PI of this project was:

This project was funded by: Radiology RD

The term of this project was: November 2015 to August 2016

The number of subjects scanned during this project was: 30

The overarching objective of this project is to develop and evaluate new CT image acquisition, reconstruction, and post-processing techniques to improve the image quality and reduce radiation dose of cerebral CT perfusion (CTP) imaging. MRI will be used in this project to acquire diffusion-weighted images of canine stroke models to provide a reference for the size and location of the ischemic core identified in CT perfusion images.
