One of the ways the heart adapts to stress is by altering metabolism. This study will evaluate how metabolism can shift acutely in response to normal everyday stress such as exercise in patients with pulmonary hypertension and right-sided heart failure. Understanding these adaptations may lead to targeted therapies to affect cardiac metabolism in the future.
