The overall goal of this proposal is to validate novel diffusion MRI methods that enable reliable imaging of the abdomen with high image quality and reproducible quantification, as urgently needed for a wide variety of applications, including the assessment of metastatic disease. Specifically, we will validate novel diffusion MRI techniques developed by our group that address the challenges of motion and distortion, in patients with hepatic metastatic disease.
