The term of this project is: March 2022 to December 9999

The number of subjects scanned during this project is: 50

The primary purpose of this research is to determine if advanced ultrasound technology can be used to non-invasively assess different stages of tongue muscle atrophy, fibrosis and dysfunction in patients undergoing radiation treatment for head and neck cancer. Ultrasound images will be collected in patients with head and neck cancer prior to and after radiation therapy.
