Radius is a medical image processing and analysis unit within the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology. We support the use of image-based outcome measures in research studies by performing well-validated image analysis, including methods developed by UW imaging researchers.

We operate in full compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, ensuring data integrity, security, and regulatory adherence.

Modeling Services

Medical visualization software allows Radius to perform 4D Flow and create 3D models from image data sets using the latest techniques to help in medical diagnosis, surgical planning and education.

*Radius has the expertise to provide both high-volume standardized analysis of large datasets using well-defined production workflows, as well as customized smaller boutique analyses that may require more hands-on consultation with clients on a case-by-case basis.

Advanced 3D modeling and segmentation techniques are used to generate precise visualizations of musculoskeletal structures, supporting accurate assessment, pre-surgical planning, and complex anatomical evaluation.

Response evaluation criteria in solid tumors measurements can be performed using state-of-the-art software to provide timely and accurate tumor response assessment measurements.

De-Identification and Coding Services

De-identified and coded medical images that meet the guidelines set by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) with respect to protected health information (PHI) can be provided promptly to research teams for a variety of job sizes ranging from small jobs to large batches using the highest tested and reviewed quality standards.
