Biography

John Symanski, MD is an Assistant Professor (CHS) in the Musculoskeletal section of the Department of Radiology. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Washington University of St. Louis – Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, followed by his Musculoskeletal Fellowship at New York University. He then returned to the Medical College of Wisconsin, his alma mater, where he served three years as the musculoskeletal fellowship director before joining University of Wisconsin – Madison. His professional interests include 3D educational models, nerve procedures and MSK ultrasound. He volunteers on the ABR MSK Core Committee and as a reviewer for Skeletal Radiology and RadioGraphics. Personal interests include fitness, chasing around his three young kids, scuba diving and cheering for the Brewers, Badgers, Bucks, and Packers.
