On June 10, 2025, Radiology published Perry Pickhardt MD’s study, “CT Colonography versus Multitarget Stool DNA Test for Colorectal Cancer Screening: A Cost-Effectiveness Analysis.” The study revealed CT colonography as a more clinically effective and cost-saving method for colorectal screening compared to multitarget stool DNA (mt-sDNA) testing.

In July 2024, Allison Grayev, MD assumed the role as program director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency program in the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology. Since taking the reins as director, Dr. Grayev has empowered residents to have agency in their training and help ensure the already successful program continued to meet the needs of both the department and the residents.
June 18th, 2025 Deanna (Dede) Rice began her career at University Hospital in 1986 and served in various roles at University Hospital, American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, and the ambulatory clinics. To celebrate her retirement, Dede reflected on her 39 years of experience.
