Biography
Dr. Avey is an associate professor (CHS) of Radiology in the Neuroradiology Section. He moved to Neuroradiology from the Community Section in 2014. Prior to that, he completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Wisconsin, where he was chief resident, and a diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. His clinical interests include head and neck radiology, imaging in acute stroke, and imaging of mesial temporal sclerosis.
