The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Conference was held Chicago, IL and virtually on November 28 – December 2, 2021. The RSNA Conference is the largest radiological conference in the U.S, attended by more than 23,000 people. The Department of Radiology faculty were a strong presence at the conference – check out the list of leadership positions, presentations, and awards below! RSNA 2021 saw an explosion of high yield diversity, equity and inclusion content every day of the conference including plenary sessions, invited lectures, scientific presentations, and educational exhibits. These sessions highlighted a variety of strategies to promote high quality, equitable patient care including community outreach, increasing the diversity of our imaging workforce, fostering inclusive environments for health care providers and our patients, and systematically studying imaging disparities. The University of Wisconsin – Madison Department of Radiology actively participated and led many of these sessions, including 10 scientific presentations and educational exhibits and invited lectures on diversity and inclusion and health equity research.
